Maintenance | Engineer | Building Services | On call | Tunbridge Wells | 37.5 hours per week | £23.5k - £24.5k per year
Spire Tunbridge Wells hospital is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team responsible for maintaining the equipment, fabric and grounds within our hospital. Standard hours will be 8am â€“ 4pm Monday to Friday but you will be required to be on-call on average one week in three covering 5pm â€“ 8am Monday to Friday and weekends.
Spire Tunbridge Wells is a 36 bedded acute hospital situated in rural Kent, located within five miles of Royal Tunbridge Wells and on the boundaries of West Sussex. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including two operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. Please note that due to the rural location of our hospital you must have access to your own transport.
Duties and responsibilities:
Working as part of our Estates and Engineering team you will be responsible for providing planned and reactive maintenance for all equipment, grounds and fabric within the hospital. This will include analysing faulty equipment through to onsite repairs and liaising closely with specialist contractors. As a multi skilled engineer this will include electrical, mechanical and general repairs including carpentry and decorating.

You will need to have a relevant Engineering qualification
Experience working in a Maintenance capacity
The flexibility to work on-call and access to your own vehicle
