Based from our Dartford based maintenance offices, this is a varied role where you will organise the time of our maintenance engineers on a day to day basis to make sure that they attend and complete repairs on behalf of our residents/customers. This role is challenging, fast paced and is pivotal in ensuring that all maintenance and repair jobs are allocated to the appropriate engineer and allotted the correct amount of time. You will be responding to reactive call outs or planning of preventative maintenance visits, scheduling the works to the engineers, ensuring relevant access requirements / security is adhered to. You will also monitor works to ensure that they complete on time so that the engineer is able to attend to their next job.
You will use our scheduling software Opti-time to oversee our the working days of multiple engineers, moving/reallocating jobs as and when emergencies need to be booked in or when extra time is needed. In addition to managing the time of our directly employed engineers, you will also arrange for sub-contractors to complete specialist repairs, making sure all jobs are closed down on the system once completed. You will also liaise closely with our call centre team and residents, agreeing appointment times when scheduling in works.

Normal working hours are 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and strong administration skills. Great attention to detail and problem solving skills are really important to be successful in this role. Your experience may have been gained working in a Scheduler role within a social housing maintenance company, although experience gained in other sectors will also be considered. Previous experience within a reactive repairs/maintenance setting is highly desirable, though experience of planned maintenance will be considered. It is also highly desirable that the successful candidate can demonstrate strong scheduling software use experience. You will also have excellent administration skills, a great telephone manner and strong attention to detail.
