A Building Inspector/Building Control Surveyor/Clerk of Works is now required for a National Insurance and Warranty provider within the Built Environment.
With over 20 year's behind them, this company are going from strength to strength throughout the whole business. Currently sitting at approximately 300 members of staff but with excellent staff retention rates. They offer a work environment where technical staff are home based going to site as needed. The business works with; builders, developers and property professionals throughout the UK.
The Role of Building Inspector/Clerk of Works
Inspecting of construction work to ensure it complies with Building Regulations and Technical Manuals.
Carry out Developer assessments.
Recording inspection details to comply with company procedures.
The successful Building Inspector/Clerk of Works
Ideally CABE qualified - although not essential.
Building Control experience ideally or Building Inspection.
Understanding of the Insurance and Warranty sector would be advantageous.
Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
The successful Clerk of Works will be given a salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience plus a competitive package which includes:
