Local Unit & Position Description:
The DNV UK Verification department is a world-leading verification unit comprising approximately 100 highly skilled employees, delivering verification services to customers within the oil and gas industry.
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically competent Graduate Engineer to join our team in London or Aberdeen.
You will have a unique chance to develop an initial grounding in engineering analysis and independently verifying work that Engineering Design Contractors and Oil and Gas Operators have carried out. On top of that, you will develop expertise in a wide range of areas such as subsea infrastructure, piping, pressure vessels, offshore containers and functional safety.
As the Graduate Engineer, you will be facing clients and progress to actively managing their projects. Furthermore, you will prepare technical reports and support senior engineers with tenders and proposals.
This position provides excellent opportunities for personal development and learning. You will contribute to the delivery of a wide variety of projects in the oil and gas industry in collaboration with oil and gas operators and their engineering design contractors.

To qualify for this position:
We need you to have at least a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
You are a recent graduate or with a few years of relevant industry experience (including internships).
Below elements, although not required, will be considered a plus:
Interest in technical development and progressing towards chartered engineer status.
Interest in the Energy Transition and new energy solutions such as hydrogen and carbon capture and storage.
Digital skills, and interest in applying these skills to improve our services.
Project Management skills.
