Role: Oracle BI Developer

What’s the purpose of this role?
This role is for an experienced developer to help support the ERP reporting requirements of the global organisation. The primary responsibility is to support the HR Analytics environment which uses a combination of OBIEE, ODI and Oracle 12c. The successful candidate is expected to be able to administrate, develop and support all layers of the technology stack.
The role is expected to grow in scope over the next couple of years with some exciting new challenges ahead. The intention is to grow the OBIEE estate with a combination of operational reporting that will be pointed to the EBS source system directly and satisfy a need for real-time reporting. Coupled with a long term intention to design and develop a complementary data warehouse that will either supplement or replace the real-time reporting requirement. The plans will present some challenging problems that are ideal for a highly motivated and analytical developer.
What does the job entail?
Your duties will be wide ranging in this role, but ultimately you will be responsible for_
Metadata Modelling, Report development, Security and third line support within Oracle BI 11.1.17
Modelling source and target schemas, designing and implementing load processes between source and target, designing and orchestrating load plans and administering the load process within Oracle Data Integrator 126.96.36.199
Working as part of a development team who are specialists in their field

What we’re looking for;
As the right candidate for the role of Oracle BI Developer, you will have some of the following_
Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.17 development and administration experience
Oracle Data Integrator 188.8.131.52 development and administration experience
Solid understanding of data warehousing best practice
The ability to work as part of a development team, sharing best practice and process improvements
We would love it if you have knowledge or programming experience within Java, Python, Shell Scripting etc. however, this is not essential
It would be great if you have experience of Oracle BI Applications 184.108.40.206 and experience of using E-Business Suite R12 as a source system but again, this is not essential
