Key Responsibility Areas
Due to increased workload, an opportunity has risen for an Integration Engineer to join the Receiver Core Delivery Team (CDT) on a permanent basis. As part of this team, you will be responsible for the integration and production support work for a diverse product portfolio that the RX CDT is involved in. This includes Vixen1000ES, CaptorE Radar1+ and the CaptorE Radar2 Fire Control Receiver/Exciters. Reporting into the Integration Lead you will be responsible for investigating technical and engineering issues during commissioning, integration, pre-production, qualification, TE integration and production/field support. Throughout this process you will be liaising with multiple disciplines including Systems, Software, Firmware, Hardware, Production Test, Test Equipment and Mechanical.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
In order to be considered for this role, you will have previous practical electronic equipment development experience, with proven hands on experience of using Digital/Analogue/RF test equipment. Broad based knowledge of radar systems and/or involvement in significant RF/Mixed Signal development and debug in a related sphere would be desirable, however not essential. You will be comfortable in using Excel, Mathcad or Matlab in order to collect and analyse investigation data. You will ideally have previous experience in one of the following: diagnosing hardware faults, determining design margin in RF systems, analysing FFTs and/or understanding component and SRI/LRI specifications. Operating within a fast paced environment, you will be able to work to tight deadlines to ensure business objectives are successfully achieved. Note that due to the nature of the tasks involved, you will have to achieve full SC security clearance.
