What you'll do
The company requires a focused Quality Management Systems Engineer who will be responsible for contributing towards, and driving the organisation’s quality culture internally, and representing the company with its key internal and external stakeholders. The role will be heavily involved in the development and improvement of the company’s business management system and the regular validation and confirmation of the business management systems, through internal audit and external assessment by regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, ambitious and capable of progressing to senior roles within the organization.
Day to day management of the company’s business management systems.
The maintenance and management of core procedures and controlled documents in line with established Document Control & Records Retention procedures
The development and improvement of all internal procedures in line with internal and external stakeholder requirements
Management and maintenance of the company’s internal audit systems in line with internal and external requirements
Facilitation and management for all external audit activities and the relevant preparation activities required beforehand (IATF16949)
Active participation in any relevant customer visits or audits that have a link to the company’s business management systems
Conducting internal systems, process & product audits in line with the internal audit schedule
Facilitation of a cross functional internal audit team with monthly meetings and regular input into the management review process
Preparation for regular management review meetings with the senior management team
Play an active role in identifying opportunities for improvement within the business management systems
Data analysis to identify key trends which will be used to drive continuous improvement within the organisation
Ensuring all corporate standards are implemented and adhered to within the business
What you'll need
An experienced auditor with lead auditor training to the IATF16949 standard
A good understanding of the IATF16949 & ISO9001 standards and their implementation, within a large established organisation
An excellent knowledge of procedures, work instructions and their importance with business
Proven experience managing audits by certification bodies either to IATF16949 & ISO9001 standards
Excellent knowledge of the management review process and its implementation, within a large organisation
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
An excellent communicator who is able to work with all areas to ensure that the company’s business management system is respected and adhered to at all times
Able to analyze complex data, draw conclusions and make proposals to all levels of the business
Able to work proactively with little supervision and play an active role in the Quality Control Team
