Duties / Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):Key duties and responsibilities:
The key purpose of the role is to support the management, generation and delivery of whole the vehicle design validation plan (DVP) for multiple projects. Based on inputs from the engineering groups and FMEA's you will develop and mange the DVP. This will include ensuring alignment with the vehicle VTS and ensuring the completion of test actives and reporting tracked in the master DVP. Where necessary you will develop new test procedures based on input from the engineering groups and mange the control, release and revision of test procedure required to deliver the DVP. You will work closely with the test and development team and project plans to deliver the DVP. You will be required to report out the DVP status ona regular basis to meet project and gateway required as part of the new product development systems (NPD S) procedures.
Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria)
KeySkills, Experience and Knowledge required:
Knowledge of vehicle level DVP's and the DVP and FMEA process
Good knowledge of automotive engineering, development and testing process.
Experience of managing or supporting vehicle validation programmes
Good communication and presentation skills.
Good written and spoken English.
A High level PC skills, especially Excel/VBasic.
