CORGI HomePlan Trade Network Team is growing and we're looking for a current (or ex) qualified gas engineer to help support our UK-wide operations. You will be enabling us to improve our operations through sharing your knowledge and helping us design better tools and services..
This role requires a technical and structured mindset where speed of response is appreciated by both our customers and network of Engineers is vital to our success.

To support and assist with all the daily activities that enable the Trade Network to carry out their role for CORGI HomePlan and provide gas technical knowledge and expertise for the business.
Carry out boiler training sessions in order to up skill agents and give them a better technical understanding of boilers and retrospective components.
Assist with technical referrals where necessary.
Play a key part in developing boiler training documents and processes.
Ensure members of the Trade Network are fit for purpose and provide an acceptable level of quality and customer service.
Ensure KPIs targets are being met with assistance from management where required.
Ensure there is positive engagement with Network firms to improve their performance, utilisation and commitment to CORGI.
Assist the invoice team with technical disputes in order to support claims and / or reach a suitable conclusion.
Deal with policy relating issues, Network recruitment, vetting or invoicing, and/or support the Network Manager with policy related activity.
Deal with RIDDOR reportable instances in the correct manner.
Support the delivery of change initiatives to improve business performance.
Provide ad hoc support to the Network Manager as required.
Provide ad hoc support for service management during summer months.
Flexibility in assisting other departments when required at busier times of the year in order to meet the business needs.
Skills & Experience
SVQ level 3 Domestic Natural Gas Installation & Maintenance / NVQ level 3 Domestic Natural Gas Installation & Maintenance.
Valid ACS or have held in the past 5 years.
Minimum of 5 years time served experience in the field.
Gas installation, service and repair experience and knowledge.
Gas Safe industry awareness, including basic working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
Understanding of plumbing and drainage systems.
Experience of dealing with 3rd party SME contractors (essential).
Essential competency with MS Office applications and Google Docs.
Preferably proficient in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
Able to write clear detailed training plans.
Advanced technical knowledge of boilers and system components.
Confident written and verbal communication.
Professional, personable manner; able to deal with all challenging conversations.
Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Numerate, analytical and comfortable with the use and analysis of data with good attention to detail.
Ability to be part of a high performing team / work well under pressure.
Handles developmental feedback.
Ability to bounce-back from challenging conversations / situations.
Ability to multi-task - inbound / outbound / email / admin.
