Reporting to the Principal Investigator and wider project leadership team the Research Software Engineer will join the project team and be responsible for working with researchers from multiple disciplines within Ulster University and within our partner institution, Queens University Belfast, to gain an understanding of the research problems and applications that may benefit from high performance computing and, subsequently, contributing to designing, developing, maintaining and extending software that can be deployed for large scale data analytics, simulation and algorithm optimisation and evaluation on the EPSRC-funded Tier-2 Northern Ireland High Performance Computing Facility, Kelvin-2. (Fixed term until 30 Nov 2023).
