Full-time- Permanent position in Exeter
We are looking for a passionate plumber ideally with experience of unvented hot water systems to undertake response maintenance and minor planned works including kitchen and bathroom refurbishment on the Exeter City Council Response & Voids Contract. This would include provision of out of hours cover on a rota basis of approx. 1 week in 4.
Salary equivalent range between £25,000 to £31,500 per annum depending upon experience and qualifications. Higher rate will only be attributable to candidates with direct experience of response maintenance and capable of undertaking full bathroom installations.
Candidates with a GasSafe Registration or experience of completing full disabled / level access bathroom installs would attract higher rates of pay.
Expected earnings with overtime and callout of c. £32 - 40k

Can you demonstrate that you have?
Experience working in the Building Construction/Maintenance Industry.
Qualified City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Unvented hot water system certification
Excellent communication skills
Ability to use mobile / PDA to manage & record work
Ability to understand and interpret work instructions, drawings and schematic drawings.
And a full driving licence
Due to the nature of this work you will be required to participate in the out of hours call out service.
