We are looking to hire an experienced Field Service Engineer who will report to the Field Service Manager, North of England region.
As a Field Service Engineer at Beckman Coulter you will conduct service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customers site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution. You’ll escalate complex issues to a greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. We are looking for professional, motivated, friendly, independent, and technically savvy Engineers who do what it takes to look after our customers and represent our high standards.
The position will be primarily supporting our customers in the North of England with occasional travel into other regions where necessary.

Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the customer.
Ensure Preventative Maintenance Inspections and service modifications are completed in the specified time frames.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all paperwork and reports.
Contribute to an environment where quality is perceived as a culture.
Maintaining accurate car inventory.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements for the position
Degree, BTEC, ONC or HNC in Electro-mechanical or Electrical Engineering or will consider equivalent work experience / military training.
Experience maintaining electro-mechanical / electrical systems at customer sites
Previous service experience and knowledge
Good documentation practice and basic knowledge/understanding of GMP.
Strong communication skills and able to deliver a great service to all of our clients
Strong team-player, someone who is motivated and driven to provide a good customer experience
Flexible with travel – 75% field based
Ideally located in or around Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester or Harrogate
