You will have fantastic attention to detail, methodical working practices, great team working skills as well as the confidence to communicate your own ideas. Above all, you will have the hunger to develop problem solving solutions using engineering and technology that you are truly passionate about.
During your time 'in company', you will be required to work within our small workshop team and will gain experience in building and commissioning all aspects of our robotic systems including tasks such as:
Working in Technical Support or Service areas
Providing help and assistance to customers
Support of Integrations and Maintenance of robotic systems
Maintaining Electrical Equipment/Systems
Requirements and prospects
Good maths skills
Excellent work ethic (self-motivated)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work independently or with other team members
No previous experience necessary but engineering bias would be a big advantage
Common sense approach
Enthusiastic and reliable
GCSE - minimum grade 4/C - in maths, English and IT (or equivalent qualifications).
Bauromat is constantly growing and evolving as a company. As a successful member of the team, there are many opportunities for progression. On completion of the Mechatronics Apprenticeship, coupled with excellent performance during your time 'in company', you will be offered a full time position within Bauromat's multi-disciplinary workshop team. From here, there is the potential to move into roles such as robot programming, controls engineering, mechanical design or service & support.

Training will be 3 days per week at MCMT Bridgnorth (WV15 5HR).
