Fixed term until August 2022
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term app developer post to work on the Erasmus+ funded Graduate Employability Skills (GES) APP Project. This is a high-profile, interdisciplinary project with UWS as project coordinators and international partners from Greece, Norway and Poland. The post is based in the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences and the School of Education and Social Sciences at the University of the West of Scotland.
The aim of the GES APP project is to design, develop and evaluate an innovative app that allows students to plan, record and evidence the acquisition and development of graduate employability skills throughout their university journey.
The post-holder will therefore need to be knowledgeable in, app design and development. Previous experience of app development and an appropriate qualification (degree level) in Computer Science, Web and Mobile Development or Games Development is essential. Mentoring and support will be provided by experienced staff in the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences, UWS.
