Senior Mechanical Engineer
Part of the Laing O'Rourke Group, Crown House Technologies is one of the UK's most advanced and innovative engineering and building services specialists. Crown House Technologies has a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to help deliver an innovative Data Centre project, which will be one of the most advanced technical data centres in the world.
About the Role
You will be technically responsible for and manage sections and subcontracts for the project. You will typically manage and supervise between 2 and 4 Section Mechanical Engineers.
Derive, select & manage innovative methods, use of materials & safe systems of work which will impact heavily on the project
Effective communication with senior management, designers, consultants, clients/Architects and project team on technical matters
Practical application of engineering principles and calculation
Establish and oversee local implementation of engineering systems, documentation / controls to comply with H&S legislation, & Company standards
Keep abreast of technological advances

You will have relevant technical / practical experience within an engineering role. You will have a degree in either a design related degree, construction or preferably an Engineer Discipline (Mechanical). Alternatively, you will have an industry recognised technical or engineering qualification (NVQ level 4) plus demonstrable experience in a design and construction delivery environment. Professionally qualified / chartered by a recognised body is also preferred.
