Role Profile
The role of Multiskilled Field Engineer is to both to manage and support the installation and commissioning of Ozo systems; to undertake planned preventative maintenance and to provide reactive technical support to customer sites producing food for leading food retailers. Ozo sub-contract site installation work that is closely monitored and harness Ozo resources to commission and train customer operators and maintenance teams. You will be a leading Ozo representative on site for the duration, typically two weeks, to manage resources, ensure compliance with Ozo, customer and legally mandated standards, to be accountable for the quality of the work done on site and for completion to an agreed schedule. You will have a critical role building trusted relationships with our customers staff and enabling optimal use of Ozo products. You will visit customer sites after system commissioning to provide scheduled maintenance and to react to break-downs.

Previous equipment installation and commissioning experience ideally in the food manufacturing industry
Desirable
IET 18th Edition trained and qualified
NEBOSH trained and qualified
MEWP’s certificate

Key Responsibilities
Experience working as a field engineer, preferably serving customers in the food industry.
Hold a mechanical, electrical, ICA or process engineering qualification.
Experience of running a site installation team, on a customer’s site, preparation of RAMS and other site-specific requirements
Experience of managing sub-contractors and suppliers
Experience as the Principle Contractor under Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
Hold a valid First Aid certificate
Hold a valid SMSTS qualification
Experience in site reporting process and procedures both internally and to customers
Provide excellent customer service that meets, or exceeds, customer expectations.
Build relationships based on trust, honesty and reliability.
Prioritise and schedule work on site by others;
To ensure the highest quality of work;
Undertake fault finding, problem solving, establish route cause and find solutions;
Assess the severity of a situation and take appropriate action;
Apply an appropriate level of urgency to escalations and requests for information;

Ability to complete installation work, to specification with minimal snagging

What we offer
Salary of £35,000 – 40,000 per annum

Discretionary annual bonus of 5% of salary
