About The Role
In your role as an Associate Mechanical Engineer at CDP you will be involved in developing new products that make a difference. These can be in a wide range of areas including developing novel medical devices & drug delivery systems, cutting-edge diagnostics and enjoyable consumer products which improve lives.

1st or high 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering from a leading university
Strong abilities in many of the following areas: Concept generation; Mechanism design; Materials selection; Analysis of static, dynamic, fluid or thermodynamic systems; Prototype and lab testing; Design for high and low volume manufacturing, Launch into manufacture, Manufacturing support, Manufacturing processes, Injection moulding
Proficiency in 3D CAD - Solidworks
A determined drive to develop your technical, project leading and commercial skills
Excellent presentation skills with the confidence and ability to present your ideas and results in a compelling way
A commercial awareness in one of the following environments: technical / design consultancy; technology start-up; new product development department
Relevant practical experience with some evidence of project leadership with good analytical and creative capabilities
A bright, conscientious and creative attitude
