ENGIE are recruiting for a Day Electrical HV AP Engineer to be based at Olympic Park, London, E15 2HG . This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £40,000 - £42,000 and high quality benefits package.
This position is for a Day Electrical HV AP Engineer for a prestigious long-term energy supply contract in the East end of London. This site involves the supply of heat, chilling and electricity to a range of consumers in and around the Olympic Park at Stratford, from two Energy Centres on the site (Kings Yard and Stratford).
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
Carry out switching activities in accordance with company acop.
Acting as site authorised person for all high voltage maintenance tasks.
Carry out the defined planned maintenance regime for all contractual obligations.
Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works on plant.
Attend, diagnose and repair faults having due regard to customer care in this specific environment.
Carry out proactive plant monitoring activities to ensure efficient utilization of plant and equipment
Interrogation of operational information systems to support daily operations as well as fault diagnosis
Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:
The ideal candidate will ideally have previous experience in this field and the relevant industry qualifications. A good understanding of operations and maintenance, heating / chilling plant and distribution systems on a commercial / industrial level is required as well as practical experience with IT related monitoring systems.
Demonstrate the ability to maintain plant and equipment to agreed specifications and operation
Have an in-depth knowledge of the relevant individual contracts
Have good knowledge of HV and LV switchgear operation and maintenance
HNC/ HND in a relevant electrical engineering qualification preferred.
Experience working on high voltage distribution equipment
May be required to join on call team. (Additional Payments)
