Job Title: Team Leader (Field Based) Division/Function: Construction
Reports to (Job Title): Field Service Manager Department: Service
Role Purpose: To help create a culture of service excellence, through a well developed, engaged and commercially astute Construction Equipment engineering team, thus ensuring customers, both internal and external, receive an outstanding level of service.
Leadership : To lead and motivate an engineering team, ensuring individual team members are delivering excellent customer service.
Communications: To develop employee engagement throughout the team, ensuring high quality, two-way communication with all team members.
Health & Safety : Ensure full compliance with health, safety and quality regulations throughout your team. Carry out Risk assessments and method statements.
Customer Service : To deliver a consistent, high quality service to all internal and external customers.
Financial: To maximise the productivity of your team through motivation, high quality work and attention to detail.
Commercial: To maximise the profit of the service operation by controlling expenses in SAR, Tooling and parts returns.
Team Development and Engagement.
Service Excellence/customer satisfaction.
Deliver tool box talks to you team.
Ensure completion of repairs meeting required dead lines.
SWIP – on time completed service reports.
H & S compliance

Knowledge and Skills
Manage an average of 8-10 engineers.
Manage SIMS quality, warranty parts.
Manage Parts, cores and tooling returns
Ensure completion of all required documentation is achieved in a timely manor.
Good levels of man management skills, having demonstrated an ability to work in a team and a desire to promote quality customer service.
A good standard of communication skills displaying the confidence to empower and develop the potential of staff.
Good levels of numeracy / literacy.
Posses a current driving licence.
P C literate.
Comfortable in Customer facing situations.
A forward thinking outlook with an eye for revenue opportunities.
