We are looking for an experienced MI Developer in Preston Brook to help support the growth of a new Operational set up.
Job Type: 6 Months FTC
Salary: Upto £32,000 DOE
You will be responsible for the scope & develop Management Information data sources and Reports (MI) for the Operation, where you will seek innovative ways to improve and automate existing reporting procedures & also to create tools to improve operational efficiency.
Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Understand the operational data / MI requirements and develop infrastructure, data feeds and distribution solutions to deliver effective MI for the operation
Particular focus on data to support growth plans ensuring effective service delivery and risk of no delivery is mitigated
Create reports, presentations, charts and other MI on both a regular and ad hoc basis, in respect of operational performance and staff utilisation
Provide recommendations on methods of presentation and format of MI
Analyse and interpret data to highlight discrepancies
Aid on any reporting requirements from the operation
Assist with automation of any repetitive operational tasks
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements to maintain an excellent reputation for the Company
Take responsibility for own learning and development, keeping up-to-date with all policy, procedural and regulatory developments, maintaining accreditation and making full use of available structured learning opportunities
Qualifications and skills
Advanced level Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent numeracy and computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Word, and Outlook)
Experience of working with databases an advantage
Ability to analyse and be creative in the presentation of data
Have meticulous attention to detail
Be highly organised and able to manage own workload to meet deadlines
Able to work as part of a team
Good interpersonal skills, comfortable at all levels
Flexibility to adapt to business needs
