MathWorks is seeking an engineer to develop ground-breaking products that enable our customers to deploy their wireless systems to hardware using automatic code generation technologies. You will apply your expertise to build the workflows and tools required for implementing real-world applications on state-of-the-art Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms.
In MATLAB and Simulink, integrate wireless systems for standards-based systems like 4G and 5G or generic systems like OFDM, QPSK and spread spectrum.
Leverage MathWorks' code generation technologies to implement the applications on state-of-the-art SDR platforms.
Develop tools to enable a workflow from research and development of wireless systems through to prototype and test on hardware.
Contribute to the development of our world-class software tools for the design, prototype and test of wireless communications systems.
Build the utilities and tools required to enable our customers to easily prototype and test their wireless algorithms.
Integrate cutting edge hardware platforms into MathWorks design workflows.
Work through the development cycle for each feature: gather requirements by engaging with customers and customer-facing engineers, design the feature by interacting with MathWorks development teams, code, debug and test new features and incorporate into our product’s codebase.
A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
Experience with MATLAB or Simulink
Experience developing communications systems.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) hardware.
Experience implementing communications systems on hardware.
Experience with FPGAs or SoCs, or embedded systems integration.
