We’re looking for Software Engineers to join our Connected Home Solutions organisation, where our vision is creating partnerships to combine our technology, innovation, skills and resources to design, build and deliver the best connected home solutions that enable success & build growth, differentiating product sales with deep understanding of customer needs, enabling then to deliver the best experiences.
As a Software Engineer in the Connected Home Solutions organisation, you’ll be working on full-stack set-top-box software that is deployed to over 1 million set top boxes. You will have the opportunity to design, develop & test cutting edge features that transform how users consume content. Our deployed software is designed to “own” the living room, aggregating traditional broadcast content with Video On Demand and other applications such as Netflix.
You will work within an Agile squad to continuously deliver working software to our customers, primarily using C and C++, but the variety of features that we deliver means that you’ll become familiar with many languages, open source packages and frameworks along the way.
Our Saltaire office is based in a World Heritage Site in West Yorkshire, less that 15 minutes by train from Leeds and Bradford, with free on-site car parking and a cycle to work scheme.

To apply for this role you’ll need to have a good understanding of object oriented software development and have experience with C++ and Linux. A degree in Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar will be highly advantageous, as will the following:
