This is a 3-month summer internship starting June 2020.

Jacobs across the UK is committed to early careers and in 2018 launched a new internship programme in several of its offices. This new programme is aimed towards undergraduates who are either currently studying for or have completed a principal degree and have a gap before starting a postgraduate course.

Our ideal candidate would be in their penultimate year studying towards attaining a minimum 2:1 BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
Excellent Analytical and technical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
Have developed a good range of IT skills
You will join us in the summer period and join our community of interns under our programme called Jacobs Campus. This programme will allow you to work with a mentor who will work with you in identifying areas of learning so that when you leave you have a portfolio of learning experiences to make reference to. There will also be opportunities to network through your community and other networks across Jacobs in various experiences that will be on offer general aspirations as a recognised inclusive and diverse employer.
Successful candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard Pre-Employment check and will be required to undergo various checks including: Identity, Right to Work; Employment/Education History and Criminal Record. If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria, then your employment may be delayed or rejected.
