Our new Engineering Manager will take over the management of our leakage products team. You will be spearheading the development of solutions to help global water companies drive down water loss across their network.

You will add impact at Ovarro by:
Working closely with the Leakage Product Line Manager to implement the engineering projects within the Leakage Product team, aligning with the company’s overall goals and financial plan
Oversee the engineering function for the Leakage Product Line, including hardware, firmware, software, mechanical and production engineering
Proactively lead and manage a multi-disciplined team of Engineers based in Denmead, Hampshire.
Manage the Leakage engineering team to ensure accurate, timely and cost-effective development and implementation of products. Work closely with Operations to ensure these products are designed for easy manufacture and all testing tools are defined and available
Provide technical input to the Leakage Product Line Manager when new product ideas are being considered, agreeing the full requirements before implementation. Provide prototype devices for stakeholder approval during the development process
Candidates should possess:
Previous leadership of a multidisciplined Engineering team
Strong knowledge of different engineering disciplines including hardware, firmware, software, mechanical and production engineering. Understanding of product verification, validation, risk management and intellectual property
A flexible management style that will provide a catalyst for team growth
Commercial awareness , with knowledge of project management and new product development life cycle
Experience of working with a product team, giving relevant input to technical specification and project plans
