An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen within our Developer Services team for a Project Engineer.
With the base in Heigham your role will be to coordinate the design and delivery of new water mains for development sites, providing a truly excellent customer experience for our Developer customers.
Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, you will be the single point of contact for the customer, processing the necessary queries internally and contributing to the maintenance of customer and asset records. As well as this, you’ll be validating scheme designs, ensuring the most efficient cost option is used without compromising health and safety and the overall quality of work.
Other work within this role includes generating impact and commissioning plans, and ensuring that all work undertaken is to standards as described in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 to ensure projects are carried out in a way that secures health and safety.

What does it take to be a Project Engineer?
You should be able to demonstrate significant Project Management and commercial awareness.
Experience of identifying, developing and managing new business opportunities.
You will have the ability to build excellent customer relationships and possess strong negotiating and influencing skills.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt and change and to think strategically and analytically.
A water distribution engineering background would be an advantage.
