How we use data is crucial to improving the services we offer to customers across Yorkshire, and crucial to our ambitions to become the most innovative housing organisation in the country.
This is an exciting time to join Yorkshire Housing, with new systems and ways of working in the process of being implemented including Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI.
Working closely with other BI Developers as part of a growing Data & Performance team, you will have the opportunity to influence how we organise and make use of data. You will help to deliver our new Data Strategy by designing, developing, testing and maintaining data solutions and technologies. This will help us to gain better insight into our business, so that we can achieve our ambitious growth plans and deliver a great customer experience.
Who we are:
We are proud to be a housing association that owns and manages more than 18,000 homes across Yorkshire and we’re developing thousands more. Our ambition is that everyone has the opportunity to live in a quality home they can afford and our team play a vital role in making this happen.
What the role involves:
You will work with large datasets (million rows+) and build data solutions through the full development lifecycle from design to testing and release.
To be successful in this role, you will probably have a good understanding of a wide range of business intelligence technologies. You’ll definitely be able to demonstrate experience developing with Microsoft BI tools and you’ll have strong SQL and SSRS skills.
What can you expect:
In return we offer £42,776 for a 35-hour week, 25 days annual leave (raising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.
We believe in supporting and trusting our people to deliver, so you’ll be able to work flexibly in terms of time and location to suit your needs and also the needs of your team, your colleagues and the business.
We also provide a reward package to suit everyone – from a variety of retail discounts to a contributory pension scheme where we will match your contributions up to 9%! As well as our great benefits and a fantastic work environment, we’re also a company that cares about its employees and its customers.
What’s more - we’re big on hiring based on our values and are looking for people who are committed to our company values of Respect, Reliability and Enthusiasm.
Why join now:
Yorkshire Housing is going through a major transformation programme - The programme will radically improve the way we interact with our customers, eliminate inefficiencies, and empower our staff to focus on the things that matter most to our customers. We want to make sure that our business is sustainable and that we're able to keep building homes for new customers, making repairs in the properties we own, and supporting customers to live in their home independently for longer. Transformation is across the entire organisation - it includes changing our processes, jobs, and how we work together, as well as introducing new technology.
So if you want to be part of a team that makes a real, positive difference every day and work for an organisation that prioritises its people and its customers then we want to hear from you!
