With more work coming through, the team are expanding and looking for another Network Engineer. This is a hands on role working across a number of client projects. The Network Engineer will be responsible for tasking within these projects that will include all aspects of routing and switching, network security design, implementation, configuration and testing: Firewalls, Guards, Intrusion Detection, IPSec VPN, Computer / router IA lockdown, IP encryption, VOIP.
The Network Engineer will be at ease working within a small to medium sized team and be comfortable taking on new tasks outside of their skill set as required by the business.
You will also be expected to uphold quality and deliver solutions to budget and time constraints. Solutions must be delivered fully documented so a high standard of written work is expected.
The team supports projects across a range of QinetiQ sites, so mobility is a key requirement of the role, although the Network Engineer will be based in Malvern majority of the time.
As Network Engineer, you need experience with installing and configuring Routers and Switches.
