Manage your own patent docket as part of one of the industry’s strongest intellectual property portfolios
Work with internal experts to evaluate new inventions
Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications before the European Patent Office
Manage domestic and foreign outside counsel
Prepare claim charts and participate in technical discussions supporting patent licensing and litigation
To be successful in the role, you must have:
The ability to understand complex, cutting-edge technology
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and activities as a team member
The people skills required to work with a diverse group of engineers, attorneys, and paralegals located around the globe
The motivation to learn and improve internal processes and tools
Good first degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science or similar
Experienced in patent drafting and prosecution experience
Nationally qualified and/or European Patent Attorney
Experience in telecommunications, including 3GPP radio access or cloud technologies preferred
