ENGIE are recruiting for a Gas Engineer to be based in the North East of England with travel around the full N/E area. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, with on call 1 week in 7. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
This is a key role within the Newcastle Operation. It requires a safe, high quality and efficient delivery of service to ensure the continued success of the business in terms of zero harm, sustainability, profitability and continued growth.
What will you deliver?
The engineer will need to conform to Engie and Engie’s Customers Standards, Rules and Procedures
The ability to work under pressure
Be able to diagnose faults and recommend appropriate solutions
Required to use hand held technology, including e-forms and complete tasks in real time
Be abile to work on their own, or as part of a team; communicate at all levels

Who are we looking for?
Time Served fully qualified engineer with a heating/mechanical/building services background
Knowledge of mechanical maintenance techniques, boilers and associated plant/equipment, building services plant and equipment
Understanding of all relevant legislative and statutory requirements and implementation of Safe Systems of Work
ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas Qualifications – CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1, COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1, COCNGLP1PD
