The Elite Centre for Manufacturing Skills (ECMS) comprises of two LEP grant funded employer led training facilities for the Black Country. These locations have been designed to increase the engagement and investment of high value manufacturing employers in training and skills to support growth in sector productivity. ECMS is led by the University of Wolverhampton in partnership and collaboration with four partner organisations these being; The Confederation of British Metal Forming, The Cast Metals Federation, Institute of Cast Metal Engineers, Dudley College and In-Comm Training Services.
The ECMS Project Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the ECMS and its associated facilities, partner and stakeholder engagement and managing the delivery of ECMS objectives and outputs in compliance with funder requirements.
We are looking for a highly capable project manager able to develop, plan and implement innovative future services and create a sustainable post funding model. You should have experience of managing output delivery and engaging with government reporting, compliance visits and audits. You will be highly organized, proactive and committed to successfully achieving ECMS objectives.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and have the skills and ability to plan, promote and deliver services to a corporate audience. You may also be required to contribute project management support to other funded projects being delivered by the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
