Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for Field Operative to join our team! In this role, you will work on-site to improve, identify and actively resolve network, system and related telecom and IT faults. The purpose of the role will be to work and train towards providing outstanding customer service, in a timely, efficient manner while meeting quality standards and adopting safe working practices.

Coordinate with Field Engineers on two-man jobs, confined space entry/installation and commissioning where other business requirements are mandatory
Undertake basic mechanical/electronic repairs e.g. kit replacement and basis fault and fix etc
Work independently, to achieve first-time resolution of work within customer guidelines without compromising safe practices
Carryout project-based on-site corrective and planned maintenance activities across multi-customer, multi-technology networks achieving agreed performance targets
Participate in the team on call out rota. Flexibility to work shift patterns, nights and on-call 24/7 as confirmed by the business on a rota system
Build diligent records and accurately update both internal Field Operations and customer systems where necessary. As well as complete, detailed and timely timesheets, expenses and spares returns
Ensure that all equipment, vehicle and tools are maintained to a high standard. All servicing and calibration dates are handled on time
Be accountable for the maintenance and security of equipment whilst in attendance at a customer premises. This includes tools and testers
To be successful in the role you are
Certified BTEC Level 2 or equivalent qualification in IT, engineering or telecommunications
Basic experience within a field operations environment in a mobile or telecommunications network provider
Basic understanding of RF theory and practice, data communications and networking
Knowledge of health and safety practices within an operational environment
Full driving license
Maintain and sustain physical fitness to meet current medical requirements, and sustain fitness levels to ensure site access & Working at Height/climbing activities
