You will work with and provide support to:
The TEIME Material & Process Engineers, who provide technical support to the local business units for all procured flight related electronic equipment, cables and harnesses.
Contributing to the Materials and Processes team mission, assuring the quality of materials and processes used in Airbus products.
Help in the researching of new materials and processes to improved performance for future applications.
You will fully use your knowledge of metallic and non-metallic material properties, and be expected to develop your understanding on how materials perform in a space environment (radiation, thermal, vacuum).
Working within a team or individually, you will interface with people at all levels – Shop Floor, Project Teams, Engineers, through to management and Customers.
The three main activities of the role:
Provide support to the local M&P team for the review of all flight related electronic equipment, material and process related qualifications, approvals and any process related issues/non-conformances to internal and external customers alike.
Problem solving, data analysis, present findings
Assist in researching new materials and their applications
Working towards a Materials Science or related degree.
Proficient use in computers, databases, Microsoft Office,
Fluent in written and spoken English
Good interpersonal skills, communication and presentation capability.
Openness and flexibility.
