Jetting Engineer Assistant
Start your career with the UK’s biggest independent drainage specialist
The Lanes Group needs more Jetting Assistants to boost the team and manage our increased workload to our growing depot network.
You’ll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures. And you’ll love working outdoors. Being flexible is essential: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours call-out rota.
You will need a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points, computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft office would be an advantage.
We actively encourage career progression here at Lanes, so if you’re looking for the long term, this could be a great place to start.
As part of a two-person team, you’ll be assisting the drainage engineer to operate our high spec jetting equipment and jet vacuumation units. Your projects will include any number of drainage related issues, including emergencies like blockages, and cleaning pipes during maintenance programmes.
You will visit different types of clients and sites — commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, and so on — across the wider area.
At the Lanes Group, we believe firmly in looking after our people and our customers. It’s a big part of who we are. It’s also one of the reasons that we have a £200 million+ turnover, over 2000 staff and a network of depots across the country.
Strictly no agencies please.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from under-represented members of the community.
