Vickerstock are currently working with one of Ireland leading FMCG firms to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) for their facility in the County Armagh Area.
Our client has over 30 years of unique experience and knowledge of their sector which is why they are recognised as one of the leading manufacturers in the FMCG sector.
Your new role as a Maintenance Engineer;
Preventative and reactive maintenance activities
Fault finding and resolution
Install new equipment and machinery
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation, reviewing, developing and improving processes, plant and machinery to improve efficiency
Source parts at best value to meet business needs and maintain appropriate stock levels
Work closely with key stakeholders to operationalise new products and progress projects and engineering solutions
Train and develop others in electrical work, new equipment, machinery and processes as necessary
Operate within Food Safety and Health and Safety standards in all aspects of the job
What you will need to succeed as a Maintenance Engineer;
Have a qualification in an electrical discipline
Time served, with extensive relevant electrical engineering experience (ideally in a high-volume food manufacturing plant)
Have the ability to read electrical drawings, diagnose and resolve electrical problems and have a good working knowledge of PLC/SCADA and industrial controls, drives, sensors, switches, robotics and automation
