WSP is the UK's largest supplier of Land Referencing services and is looking for a Land Referencing Technician to support with data collection and entry for the Land Referencing team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
A typical week would include:
Complying with WSP’s health and safety processes to ensure and encourage safe working practices
Undertaking site visits to meet members of the public to confirm land ownership information
Answering phone calls and responding to emails assisting with land owner queries
Supporting teams by inputting information into our systems and ensuring its validity, accuracy and auditability
Arranging site visits – printing site documents/organising hire cars/planning routes
Assisting with improving data quality based on comments from senior members of the team
Supporting the delivery of detailed, high quality land ownership information to our clients
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
A full clean driving license
Interpersonal skills and can communicate clearly with members of the
A keen eye for detail
The ability to learn quickly
Computer literacy (Basic Word and Excel skills)
Excellent communication skills
The ability to prioritise workloads effectively
Resilience to feedback
An understanding of the importance of handling confidential information
You should also be able to demonstrate the following experience;
Working within a team environment
Working to deadlines
This role would likely suit a recent graduate in geography, environmental science, estate management, property or any other relevant degree, who is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced office environment.
