The Project Coordinator will be an integral part of our Project Management (PM) team. You will assist the PM team, working with the design team, AV engineers and directly with the customer, helping to ensure that everyone understands the end goal. You will develop relationships with different clients, using your engineering skills and technical knowledge to advise the customer and ensure that their needs are met with each end solution.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with implementation and design activities as directed
Work towards successful integration between technologies and legacy systems in delivering the solution
Assist with the implementation approach, standards and deliverables from all teams (internal and third party) contributing to project technical delivery
Assist and support design team to ensure the most appropriate overall solution is achieved
Collaboration with senior PMs and internal PM team to achieve successful delivery of project plan as represented in the overall project plan
Where applicable, and under supervision, provide technical governance for client's plans and ideas regarding installation and configuration of a wide range of video conferencing (VC) and integrated audio and video equipment including Digital signage, IPTV, SMART Board, Projection, Audio, room controllers and monitoring systems, Crestron, AMX, Extron, Kramer, ClearOne, Biamp
Participate in full implementation process encompassing everything from design, procurement and commissioning
Develop skills working with global partners on procurement and account management
Work towards relevant PM qualifications
Gain experience in field installation, some travel will be required.
Any other activities as directed by your manager.
Have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar position
Relevant third level qualification - engineering / IT background
Working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements and their installations (including AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, video conferencing, video streaming, digital signage, etc) would be an advantage.
Technical knowledge advantageous – Video, Networking, Audio, Power, Ventilation.
Skills and experience with the following: MS Office.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-starter/ability to work on own initiative.
High level of professionalism and customer awareness.
