Your new role as a Maintenance Engineer;
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring that production downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Assist in projects with new machinery/equipment installation and provide technical assistance to other departments when needed
Identifying key maintenance issues and drive continuous improvements.
What you will need to succeed as a Maintenance Engineer;
Time-served and qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering coupled with good mechanical skills.
Previous experience within a maintenance role- preferably food industry.
Good working knowledge of single/ 3 phase electrical installations and equipment.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Basic knowledge of motor inverters, PLC and various control gear.
Ability to diagnose faults on electrical control circuits, general electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment.
Comfortable reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
