At ONI we empower scientists to take their research to the next level with cutting edge hardware, precision sample preparation and next generation analysis tools. Our flagship product, the Nanoimager, is the world’s first desktop super resolution microscope capable of observing individual molecules within living cells. Since spinning out from Oxford University in 2016, ONI has rapidly grown to a diverse team with over 30 nationalities represented.

Experimental research background in Physics, Biophysics, Biology, or Chemistry (PhD preferred)
Excellent programming skills (Python or C++).
Experience with designing digital and/or analog circuits
Experience with designing and building optical setups/instruments
Desirable qualifications and skills
Experience in developing novel microscopy techniques
xperience in preparing and imaging of biological samples
Knowledge in relevant areas of biology and medicine, such as genetics, neurology, stem cells, tissue engineering, pathology, immunology, plant biology…
Ability to lead projects, grow them with novel insight, and share motivation about them.
Experience in analysing experimental data
Experience in planning experiments and leading research direction
