Maintenance Check Sheet Engineer A Maintenance check sheet Engineer is responsible for the authoring and validation of maintenance and PDI check sheets and supporting SRO times for vehicle programmes. Act as the single point of contact for Engineering and Service Attribute (SA) team and to create all maintenance and PDI check sheet(s) for all markets based on engineering and SA input. This role that requires a holistic view of the overall maintenance information within Service Diagnostics and Repair (SDR) area with Technical Service.
Main Duties Proactively, using acquired knowledge and experience as well as relevant tools and methods, create and publish maintenance, PDI and SRO procedures for all vehicles and markets. Liaise with engineers to create technical fixes for data issues and be the single point of contact for maintenance and PDI sheet data issues within the Technical Service function Represent SDR at a suitable PE forum for issue exchange and project status reporting. Work with SDR team to establish the list of Job#1 deliverables, for the agreed functional areas, for new programs and model year updates.
Key performance indicators
Maintenance check sheets and Special tools are all available prior to Job 1,
Quality, Programme issues affecting service are identified with mitigations considered / implemented, Performance, Serviceability standards set, met and escalated promptly with AIMS to progress resolution
Proven track record of delivery of Customer focused approach to technical issue resolution
Appropriate level of education and/or experience.
Educated to degree or HND level ideally
Experience in reviewing and interpreting complex data sets and extracting data to develop clear vehicle maintenance information for markets and regions
Knowledge and experience in how to write and adapt repair information for specific target groups
Structured and methodical approach to data analysis and validation.
Automotive serviceability knowledge preferred
Some knowledge and a desire to embrace and drive future industry standards and technology
Academic degree within relevant area or the equivalent education and/or experience
