You will be joining the Securities team within Corporate Bank Technology as a Production Engineer in the Reliability Engineering team. Production Reliability Engineering is accountable for driving a culture of proactive continual improvement into the Production environment through automation of manual work, monitoring improvements and platform hygiene. As a Production Reliability Engineer you will develop technical solutions to improve the stability of production environments.

Your key responsibilities
Enhancing the technical capabilities of the Production Support teams to create a future operating model embedded with engineering culture in an Investment Banking environment
Responsible for your own engineering delivery to drive a reduction in technical debt across the production environment with development and infrastructure teams
Creating a strong network of contacts with associated technology teams from development, infrastructure and production to collaborate on risk identification, remediation solutions and managing change conflicts
Developing business knowledge to identify Information Technology (IT) design enhancements to provide value to clients and the supporting businesses through understanding the technical infrastructure that support 24x7 applications in a complex business environment
Embracing a Continuous Service Improvement approach to resolve IT failings, drive efficiencies and remove repetition to streamline support activities, reduce risk, and improve system availability
Your skills and experience
Strong experience of applying technical solutions to improve the stability of production environments
Good understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library Service management framework (incident, problem, change, knowledge)
Excellent working experience of multiple operating systems, middleware, database environments, scripting languages, automation, monitoring and data analytics tools
Ability to self-manage a book of work and ensure clear transparency on progress with clear, timely, communication of issues
Capability to interact successfully in a virtual, multi-vendor and multi-cultural environment
