About the role
As a Reliability Engineer in our talented team at Runcorn you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance, repair, problem solving and improvement of assets and their availability across our site.
Your role will allow you to implement maintenance programmes that support and improve asset performance and utilisation.
You'll be responsible for r esponding promptly and appropriately to plant reliability issues, analyse, fault find and repair route cause problems to ensure downtime is minimized.
You'll accurately record and promptly report the outcome of maintenance problems, via the SAP maintenance system, to facilitate the sharing of best practice.
Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets .
Your role will feature over a core shift of Monday to Friday.

You’ll be able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. You’ll have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.
You'll be working alongside both internal and external partners.
You'll be a time served mechanical or electrical Engineer or Technician with an understanding of the opposite core skill and have relevant qualifications and demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.
