Duties / Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):
As Lead Engineer – Vehicle Dynamics, you’ll help drive forward and develop our 3rd Party Engineering Vehicle Dynamics Group, supporting the delivery of key Vehicle Dynamics projects. This includes responsibility for all aspects of vehicle dynamics development. You'll be managing a small yet high performing team of Engineers on a variety of projects, ensuring these projects are delivered to cost, quality and time.
This role involves frequent international travel to client sites, so you must be willing to travel as part of the role.
Planning engineering activities within dynamics functions, you'll deliver on the hands on technical delivery of projects. Working on test procedures, report generation and evidence packs, you will integrate with client teams, solving problems and delivering technical solutions.

You’ll be degree educated in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering and bring with you extensive experience of vehicle dynamic subjective assessment including areas such as;
Damper tuning (including Electronic Variable)
Electronic Stability Systems development
You’ll also need an in-depth, practical understanding of Kinematics and Compliance, particularly interpreting K&C data.
With objective testing experience, and experience of Vehicle Dynamics development, you’ll have a strong understanding of vehicle attributes for a wide range of diverse vehicle types.
You'll also need a very high level of driving ability focused around road vehicle development.
