Graduate CAD / Design Engineer
This role is an exciting opportunity for any graduate engineer looking to start their career in the manufacturing industry. The correct candidate will initially be assisting our design team in the production of technical drawings for our manufacturing teams, as your knowledge and skills grow you will be expected to handle your own workload.
Create technical drawings for new trench cover production.
Conduct FEA Analysis using Simulation Software.
Design new tooling for our engineering department.
Check 1st off parts to ensure they are within tolerance against technical drawings.
Creating CNC glass cutting programs using CAD for productivity savings
Record all quality documents for audit requirements.
Other duties as required.
Experience / Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or Related Subject.
CAD Experience Essential (Solidworks Preferred).
Excellent attention to detail.
Able to perform under tight deadlines.
Able to work independently.
Must be willing and able to comply with plant safety policies.
Must be willing and able to work overtime to meet business needs.
Must be able to wear all required PPE.
