Siemens Healthineers are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their Healthcare Diagnostics business based at the well-established and modern facility in Llanberis, located next to Snowdonia National Park. The facility manufactures and distributes reagents for in-vitro diagnostic medical devices used in hospitals worldwide to aid the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Identify and lead equipment improvement programmes and process improvement initiatives
Lead the Introduction or modification of Process Equipment - (Project Charter, Project Plan, Specification/URS, Procurement, Design Review, Testing FAT/SAT, Installation, commissioning, and Validation)
Identifying and lead effective preventative actions and root cause for equipment failures and resulting deviations and ensure that open Quality records and CAPA are closed within the agreed site KPI targets
Provide Engineering support for escalated technical issues appertaining to manufacturing plant, equipment, and processes as per the Engineering escalation process.
Support Maintenance and any 3rd parties in any PLC modifications or trouble shooting activities and likewise for any issues arising on customised equipment
Raise Engineering related change controls as required and manage changes in an effective and timely manner
Ensure manufacturing engineering activities to be completed in line with internal Quality Systems requirements and that document records meet GMP standards
Ensure the approved Service Level Agreement (SLA) with internal customers are maintained/exceeded (e.g response time, improvement activity completion etc)
Skills & Experience:
Being part of our team:
- HNC or above in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience within a regulated industry
- Technical experience within a volume manufacturing environment
- Experience of working on projects is desirable
- Knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma is desirable
- Experience of root cause investigation and trouble shooting techniques
