Where will I be working?
This is a field based role covering Southern England and South Wales. We are flexible on where you live within the area as long as you are happy to travel extensively and have good links to the motorways. You will be expected to attend regular meetings at our offices in High Wycombe, Birmingham and Stoke on Trent.
What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Service Support Manager SSM (Pharmaceutical), you will be responsible for supporting and developing the Pharmaceutical Field Service team, and supporting our customers to ensure that that continue to receive the best in class quality service. Growing the field service business by working closely with SSM to support our customers and maximise opportunities.
To observe, abide by and enforce the Company’s and client’s Health and Safety policies.
Carry out service and refurbishment on our water treatment equipment as part of maintaining customer satisfaction.
To develop and maintain good working relationships with customers through providing best in class quality service.
Liaise with Scheduling / Tech Support / Projects / Parts as appropriate to optimise Engineer Utilisation / Recoveries.
Work with the SSM to attend customer meetings as requested to discuss opportunities and / or resolve problem sites.
Develop initiatives for the team to meet / exceed target budget and to control costs and margins in cooperation with the SSM
Participate in regular team meetings.
With the SSM regularly review engineer grades and encourage engineers to develop evidence to gain grading criteria.
Do I have what it takes?
Extensive knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical engineering practices, production environment, and applications.
Supervisory experience with a solid engineering background will be the foundation of this role
Demonstrable supervisory experience or the aptitude / willingness to develop in this area.
Excellent communication skills with previous client facing experience.
Proven commercial track record.
Demonstrable experience working and developing as an individual and within a team.
Proven ability to work to high standards and to be successful when delivering on commitments.
Ability to develop our service offerings through excellent customer relationships and sound business practice.
The energy to be able to strive and achieve more than we believe we can.
Be innovative to create differentiation and value to the organisation and our customers.
Demonstrable experience developing excellent customer relationships.
Full UK driving licence.
