Apprentice Lift Engineer
We Elevate... Your Responsibilities
Our 42-month engineering programme involves rotations throughout the business, focussing on our New Installations, Maintenance and Service, Modernisation and Repairs departments, ensuring you gain exposure to a wide range of electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Working closely with industry experts, you will build a full range of skills in: Installations, Maintenance and Service, Modernisations and Repairs on Lifts, Escalators and Moving Walkways. You will also learn how to interact with customers and discover what exceptional customer service really looks like.
We Elevate... Your Best Self
There’s no upper age limit but you must be 16 or over and hold five GCSEs at level 4 (equivalent to a C) or above, including Maths and English.
If successful, you will follow a 42-month structured training programme leading to you becoming fully qualified lift/escalator engineer. The scheme includes on-the-job training where you will gain transferable knowledge and skills from all business disciplines: service, repair, new installations and modernisation.
By the time you graduate from the apprenticeship you should have achieved up to a Higher National Certificate (HNC) level, industry recognised, qualification.
