The Prosper project is seeking two research staff developers. Prosper aims to develop a new approach to postdoc career development that unlocks postdocs¿ potential to thrive in multiple career pathways. You will collaborate on the design and delivery of sector-leading opportunities for postdocs to effectively analyse and strategically plan potential career pathways. Working directly with pilot cohorts of 100 postdocs and over 50 employers you will join the team to co-create, deliver and evaluate a set of resources that will have a positive impact on postdocs¿ career success. You will build effective networks with colleagues across the sector responsible for postdoc development (both in the UK and abroad), to directly inform the design of the projects outputs.
You will have a detailed understanding of the practice and purpose of research, and the value and impact the associated skills, behaviours and attributes can have both within and beyond the university sector. A strong team player, you will be used to working as part of a diverse team. As a member of the Prosper team within the Academy, you will bring energy, enthusiasm and a constant focus on excellence to our work.
You should have a PhD in any discipline or equivalent professional experience.
