DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Listed in order of relevance:
Under general direction design, code, test, maintain and troubleshoot software programs. The main focus of development and support activities includes communication servers for industrial control systems, network protocols and design of user interface on Windows platform.
Assist with defining requirements to resolve moderately complex problems.
Communicate software features and support issues to internal and/or external customers.
Write test scenarios and assist with complete program testing.
May provide training to less experienced software engineers.
Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Sc. Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree.
2+ years of programming experience.
Experience in industrial automation preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Environment: Visual Studio and .NET Framework.
Operating System: Windows 7, 10 and Windows Server 2008, 2012.
Windows Forms, WPF, WCF and Web services.
Architecture and API of MS Windows.
Understanding of relational databases, SQL.
UML and interface description languages.
Ability to work effectively within a small team.
Excellent communication skills in English required.
The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal. Minimal travel may be required.
