Dayta has been delivering Sage business solutions for over 25 years and recently achieved the Sage
200 Business Partner of the Year award in recognition of our success. We have a strong focus on
bespoke enhancements to the Sage software enabling us to deliver the exact needs of our customers
and we continue to grow with them by supporting and updating all our development programs.
We are looking for a developer who specialises and has experience in web development and
application integration to join our friendly team. If you have worked on large projects, enjoy getting
stuck in and would like to have ownership of a project, this is a great opportunity for you!
Our PO Requisitions package for schools is being written in a web environment and will work with
various API’s as well as fully integrate with Sage 200. If you are passionate and want to be an integral
member of the team, we want to hear from you.
Key tasks of the role:
Develop the web based PO program to the specification provided.
Share knowledge and train others in the team on web-based programming.
Work with the Software manager to deliver enhancements and add-ons for Sage 200 software
based on any customer requests and specifications.
Work with API’s and suggest ways of integrating various applications with Sage depending on
Assist with sizing up work and quoting for jobs.
Work with the team to share ideas and ensure the Dayta style is being followed and we are
working in the most efficient way.
Use your expertise and experience to help improve our processes and working practices.
Be involved and assist in the whole development lifecycle including specs, design,
development, testing, delivery and on-going support.
Support existing bespoke programs if the team and/or customers require any bug fixes or
Porting and upgrading programs to work with newer versions of Sage.
Write enhancements and new features for our ‘off the shelf’ bespoke add-ons based on the
road map and in the agreed timescales.

Demonstrable skills with Microsoft Visual Studio, VB.net, Access, VBA or a similar technology
and/or web-based applications are essential.
Write efficient and effective code while following the company’s style guide and development
A team player who is eager to thrive in a busy and challenging environment.
Strong analytical skills and can present technical information in a structured, logical manner.
Technical skills required:
API/Web Services knowledge (SOAP and RESTful)
Telerik Development Tools
Hours - Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Location - Work from home or in our Aylesbury office
Salary – Negotiable depending on experience
