Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Director of Sales to join our Sales team in the EU. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.
As a Director of Sales, the candidate will be reporting to the VP of Worldwide Sales and is a Full-Time position. We are searching for a Sales Director for the territories in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) along with Israel. The focus of this Sales role is to develop and grow all of Rambus businesses in the “stated” territory (Security, Interface IP & Controller and Memory Interface products); With a focus on strategic customer relationships and opportunities, your main responsibility is to achieve assigned Regional revenue targets by developing and maintaining customer accounts.
Sales management responsibility for entire Territory of EMEA and Israel and responsible for all Rambus products.
Accountable to deliver Revenue, Gross Margin, and Design Win Revenue goals
Forecasting long term demand and near-term revenue
Responsible for assessing current opportunities, resources, and capabilities needed to meet or exceed sales plan
Responsible for developing and executing innovative sales approaches to drive revenue and profitability growth
Maintain and grow the existing customer base while increasing Rambus’ focus on pursuing and investing in new high-value accounts
Work with all of Rambus’ Business Unit Marketing Teams to develop account strategies based on market analysis and customer segmentation
Build processes to understand customer current/future requirements, detecting market trends among and align Rambus’ product development, manufacturing capabilities, and investment strategy
Work closely with the Rambus Business Units to successfully introduce new products on critical launch calendars
Develop and build senior-level relationships internal and external to major accounts and targets

Region: EMEA, Israel
Travel: up to 50%
Location: Major Country – City in EMEA
BSEE / MSEE (preferred)
Demonstrable long-lasting years of experience in semiconductor sales, IP Sales and customer engagement / field marketing
Demonstrate the ability to train, coach, manage and lead a sales organization as it relates to various technologies. Managing Sales, FAEs and internal support is required.
Practical experiences selling semiconductor IP, Foundry, ASIC in are a must
Experience with SerDes, Memory, Security IP and services are desired
Demonstrated experience and skills managing a reliable and detailed forecast and sales opportunity funnel
Goal/ target oriented, proven track record in customer development as well as strong desire to achieve customer satisfaction and
Strong semiconductor industry network, with pre-existing executive relationship that will translate to improved traction for strategic engagements
Strong project management skills, self-driven, working style, negotiating skills
Open minded to work in an intercultural work environment
Familiar with MS Office, salesforce.com, and CRM systems
Excellent presentation skills.
Willingness to travel as much as necessary in order to get the job done.
